This was too much fun. I just recently learned how to adjust my shutter on this camera (didn't even know I had that power), and so when flipping through photography blogs I had to take this challenge right away. Camera Toss....

Very cool effects! The third one down with the almost spiraling blue and white is my favorite.
I won't be trying this effect with Jeff's camera. :O)

Oh my! I read the guy's website and it scared me to death! We dropped our camera once about two inches and the open lens barely clunked the desk... and threw the whole camera out of whack. I won't be trying it but I loved seeing the effects that you created. What a cool idea!
I just read about this too! But now I can't remember how to slow down my shutter in the completely manual setting. I gave it a try yesterday!

I wanted to try it! In fact, I did, but mine did NOT turn out like that. Do tell what your settings were! I put mine on the 2 second delay timer, and selected overexposure....but I'm not sure how to make the adjustment.
The colors come from the different computer screens. I tossed the camera passed them onto a big pillow.
I used the auto setting, but put the LT(long exposure time) on different setting. I think the bottom two which I like best were set at 4 seconds.
After the first one came out so straight, I tossed the other two with a bit more of a spin on them. It was a really gentle toss, so the camera wasn't moving too fast (relatively speaking). :)
