I told Dirk, someday I'll make one this big!
This was our hotel. I believe it was built in the 1850's.
This is the lobby. Not a great shot, but one of only a few 'long shots' I took. Mostly I did close up of the amazing details. This is today's photo of Bean Bloosom where we didn't go Christmas shopping. Most of the places were closed before we got there (5:30pm) I didn't get any pictures of the pretty little Fountain Square Mall in Bloomington where we did go shopping.

Wow! This all looks so wonderful! I especially like that last shot.
What wonderful scenes! What did I miss? Where did you go? Looks nice.
What a beautiful place. That lobby shot reminds me a bit of Union Station -- where I met you!
Thanks Laura.
Colleen, I went to French Lick Spa and Resort (Which is a casino and old hotel), to be with Dirk who was preforming in It's A Wonderful Life. The free room came as one of the perks. I am really glad I went.
Amp. You are right, it does have that kind of feel to it. Much smaller scale, but same type of details.
Sorry about the Altersand thing. I have been playing around with the idea of a blog for my alter ego, and had set up a different account. :)
I'm not sure I'm going to do the blog, though, since I kind of want my ego and alter ego integrated.
Still musing on it.
This is really cool! I missed these somehow, but wanted to say how much I loved them!
oh, so very lovely! :)
