It was really cool to spend the morning with Kayleigh and MaryRose watching her try on dresses.
These last two shots are of the dress she liked the best today. I like the simplicity and the texture. I wish I had taken a picture when she put on the veil (that she thought she didn't want). It was a good thing she was trying them on because everything she thought she wanted looked terrible, and everything she thought would look bad looked really nice on her.

They look happy! And it's fun to get see her trying on wedding dresses. Glad you took several.
Oh, my goodness, this is why the Lord didn't give me daughters. I can't imagine doing all that dress shopping! LOL I hope you enjoyed it ~ good idea to document the event (and the dresses!) with photos. : )
That last shot is really wonderful - very artistic and lovely.
Congratulations!
I was already thinking I liked the last one best before I read your comments. Did she have a good time, or is it an ordeal? (Looks like she enjoyed it.)
And all of us mamas-of-daughters are feeling a little misty-eyed, thinking "Someday it'll be MY baby doing that." Enjoy this special time!
How fun! I always wanted to try on wedding dresses but never got the chance; Keith's mom made mine so I only tried that one on for fittings.
lots of happiness there, indeed.
I love the sash on the last dress... sashes are the big thing right now. I also thought she really looked faboo in the fourth dress down, too. The last shot is really pretty, too!
so pretty!!!
I didn't know they would let you photo dresses before you buy them...
I love the one that's the current favorite.
Isn't it amazing how different clothes look on the hanger versus on the person?
Brightstar, it is funny, I never even thought to ask them :) the girls have always taken the camera to try on clothes. Especially Athena, she will try on a hundred things (just about) and take pictures of all of them then come home and figure out which ones she likes best on her. I think they do it mostly with 'big dresses' because they also want to be sure no one is wearing the same dress to the same dance.
Laura, we had a great time. Kayleigh really did enjoy it. I think because we have so much time, no one is stressing (yet) and the whole process has been fun because we are not pressured to make decissions at all.
Thank you all for your comments. There will probably be many more wedding prep photos throughout the rest of the year.
