This shot is a good cross section of the almost 200 people who attended my mom's memorial service.

This is Kayleigh and Erwin discovering they were wearing matching hats.....Kayleigh had stolen the hat fom her dad ;)

This is the one cake I kept for the family. I spent the day baking cookies, cakes, and cupcakes for the nurses at Hospice and the Hospital. This is the first time I tried a checkerboard cake. It was spice and coconut with creamcheese and Amaretta icing.

Somethings don't suffer from language barriers.

Back to school, a game and a 'normal' life.

I'd like to hear about the memorial service. Will you blog it somewhere or share on LP?
Yes, I will. Since I want to use pictures, I will probably blog about it on my Ponderings site, in the next day or two. It was a wonderful experience.
Such descriptive photos! I too would enjoy reading about the memorial service.
The older I get, the more I realize "normal" life encompasses everything that I used to call not normal. KWIM?
Love you,
Susan
